GigaContent covers the UCI Cycling Road World Championships in
Denmark

The biggest sports event in Denmark this year - the UCI Road
World Championships - kicks off this week and as usual GigaContent
will be delivering the high-quality live TV images for Danish
broadcaster TV2. GigaContent will be a main supplier of the
broadcast solutions used to deliver TV2's coverage at Copenhagen
City Hall and at Geels Hill north of the city in the suburb of
Virum.
- We are very happy to be close to the action - once again -
when it really matters, and with the entire world as our audience.
TV2 is in the case of the Cyling Road World Championships the host
broadcaster. This means that TV2 - among others - will be
responsible for the quality of the live TV images sent to foreign
broadcasters. But we are quite confident about the results. For us
this is business as usual, says Jan de Blanck, VP Sales &
Marketing for GigaContent.
The UCI World Road Championships features the world's greates
cycling stars, including Denmark's Matti Breschel, Thor Hushovd of
Norway, and the Schleck-brothers of Luxembourg. Altogether 63
nations will be participating in the event.
