GigaContent deliveres complete solution to Bella Center and Forum Copenhagen

30. August 2010

Denmark's biggest conference centre and one of Copenhagen's most important entertainment venues have selected GigaContent for the delivery of a complete content network solution. This means that lots of exciting live content in HD and SD from the Bella Center and Forum Copenhagen shortly will be available on the GigaContent network. Last year the Bella Center was the main venue for the COP15 international conference on Global Warming.

- Our new agreement with the Bella Center and Forum Copenhagen shows how a company or a venue with several dispersed facilities may effectively benefit from GigaContent's services. The agreement also demonstrates that GigaContent's technology makes adaption to individual customer needs simple and effective. With this solution the Bella Centre and Forum Copenhagen are destined to become permanent parts of the Danish media landscape, says Jan de Blanck, VP Sales for GigaContent.

The most important conference and meeting facility in the country - the Bella Centre - will become the hub of GigaContent's complete solution. As an important part of the system the Bella Center's own internal fibre network will be used to extend GigaContent's coverage to include individual exhibition halls. This means that permanent connections will be deployed to each hall enabling the delivery or reception of live content. And this will simplify the production of content immensely.

In the course of 2011 the Forum Copenhagen will be connected to the network through the solution hub at the Bella Centre. The Forum Copenhagen will of course also be able to send or receive content in full HD or SD. Connections to or from the Bella Centre may be reserved as always via GigaBooking here.
