GigaContent opens first foreign pont-of-event

This week GigaContent's first point-of-event outside
Denmark will officially open for business as Malmö Arena in Sweden
becomes a part of the GigaContent media network. It will be the
first time that a foreign sports arena connects directly to
GigaContent, and that means that live handball and ice hockey move
steps closer to the TV-screens of Danish and Swedish
sportsfans.
- We are very proud of our first foreign point-of-event, and it
will certainly not be the last. We will have many of good
opportunities to extend our coverage of the entire region, says Jan
de Blanck, VP Sales for GigaContent.
GigaContent's connection to the Malmö Arena extends across the
Oresund Sound Bridge connecting Denmark and Sweden, and will be
used for the first time in connection with the mens handball World
Cup in Sweeden, which starts in January 2011. Read more about the
