GigaContent transmits from VillaWatt
3. December, 2009
What will tomorrow's home look like? One thing is for sure: The
house will be intelligent and packed with high-tech entertainment
devices. GigaContent will be on hand when The Handover Foundation
together with Elsparefonden, the Ministry of Science, and the IT Industry Association formally
present Villa Watt, on Friday 4th December in Taastrup.
Villa Watt is an educated guess as to what the energy-saving,
intelligent house of the future will look like. But Villa Watt also
shows that the extremely fast broadband of the future will be able
to deliver plenty of content and lots of new applications.
GigaContent will make a 1 gigabit broadcast connection available to
connect Villa Watts mini-studio in order to show how simple it is
to broadcast your own live TV show on GigaContent's network.
Besides the opportunity to experience GigaContent's solution for
yourself, SBS TV - who operates the national TV Channels 4, 5 and 6
in Denmark - and DK4 will send live feeds of video content to Villa
Watts.
If you would like to see a demonstration of GigaContent's
solution at Villa Watt please send an email to Jan de Blanck on jdb@gigacontent.dk or call ph.
