UCI Track Cycling World Championships live with
GigaContent

GigaContent will be supplying a critical part of the
transmission link when Denmark's TV2 and many foreign media
broadcast live from one of this year's most important international
sporting events in Denmark: The UCI Track Cycling World
Championships.
Ballerup Arena is to be the venue for five days of world class
bicycle racing on March 24-28, and this time TV2 has taken on the
special role of host broadcaster. This means that TV2's
production facilities at the Ballerup Arena will be producing all
of the live content to be transmitted to TV stations and media
around the world. According to TV2, all of 15 vide cameras will be
used including a moving video camera on rails, which is to follow
the riders on the home stretch.
GigaContent will be providing a GigaBroadcast connection from the
Ballerup Arena to TV2's main facility in Odense, from which the
images are then transmitted to foreign and international media.
GigaContent is happy to be providing the service.
