GigaFlexilink: Broadcast live
TV over the Internet
Need
to broadcast live TV from important events across the globe? Then
GigaFlexilink is the obvious solution.
GigaFlexilink is a service that makes it possible
to broadcast live TV from nearly anywhere - the service only
requires access to a stable Internet connection with a recommended
minimum upload speed of 1 megabit per second [1].
You can use GigaFlexilink when breaking news
requires that you report from the spot. You can use
GigaFlexilink internationally when you - for
example - need to broadcast from the world's hotspots. Companies
can also use GigaFlexilink to cover conferences or
other important corporate events.
GigaFlexilink is based on a simple idea: Using
the public Internet as a medium for live broadcast. GigaContent has
entered into agreements for the exchange of data traffic with a
number of the world's biggest providers of Internet services so
that your video pictures and sound will pass through as few
Internet hubs as possible. For this reason the video quality will
often be good when you use GigaFlexilink.
We will provide you with a practical portable unit with a
built-in monitor that you can bring with you when reporting from an
event. The portable unit includes everything you need to broadcast
TV via GigaFlexilink when you are in the field.
The TV signal from your camera is coded and transmitted - for
example - to a broadcaster or streamed directly to the Internet
with GigaWebTV. GigaFlexilink
requires that you already have access to a GigaContent solution in
the form of GigaAcess or GigaBroadcast.
Why chose GigaFlexilink?
- Broadcast live TV from nearly anywhere via the Internet
- Portable & ease-to-use solution with great
flexilbility

[1] GigaContent cannot guarantee for the
quality of your transmission when using GigaFlexilink because not
all links in the transmission chain are under the control og
GigaContent. Vi recommoned a minimum upload speed of 1 megabit per
second, but higher speeds will give better results. For
transmissions inside of Denmark you can use GigaAccess
or GigaEasylink when garanteed
quality is a must.
